Over the past year here at The Wildwood Senior Living, residents and staff have had the chance to participate in a lot of exciting achievements. Employees celebrated many exciting times throughout the year with Nurse’s week, CNA week, and the annual survey for A Great Place to Work. In October, staff and residents were able to come together to support the community and participate in the yearly trick-or-treating.
The team came together many times throughout the year to make The Wildwood a great place to work. They participated in a contest to get a 100% participation in our annual survey and accomplished the win with our competitive side. During the Mardi Gras celebration this past year departments challenged each other to a float contest and for the Halloween celebration we participated in a pumpkin carving/decorating contest. These times bring the teams closer together to achieve goals.
Many team members contributed to making The Wildwood one of the best communities around. The culinary team always shows up to provide residents with great food and fellowship during the dining times. They make sure all the needs of the residents are met and they are happy and full when they leave. The memory care and wellness team create an inviting and fun atmosphere for the residents and always provides top notch care. Housekeeping and plant operations are always accommodating to the residents’ needs and keeps our Wildwood community sparkling clean. Abby and Kathy in resident services are always on top of all the partying and activities for the residents and running errands. Our community wouldn’t run as smoothly as it does without our Operations Coordinator Glenda and our front desk staff on the weekends. Our sales team keeps our community full of amazing residents. And lastly, the directors offer great leadership and camaraderie with the staff. They make sure the staff and residents know they are valued and respected at The Wildwood.
At The Wildwood we have a lot of fun planned for the remainder of the year – Christmas parties, craft making, gift exchanges, and lots of decorating for the holidays. For the upcoming year we have hopes of creating a great place to live and a fun place to work.
